Women Herstory Month
Our children learned about Lorna Simpson, the famous visual artist. They watched a slideshow that showed her artwork and discussed her style, methods, and content.
Later, they made their own artwork using her style. It was a creative moment where they were free to explore and push their boundaries. We made an exhibit in the hallway for everyone to see.
