Making play dough is a hands-on activity which engages the children in tactile learning. Mixing, rolling, and cutting up play dough helps with hand coordination and fine motor skills, which is an important pre-writing skill.

The wonderful children at MOHDC SmartStart can walk on lily pads. They can also hug a cloud, put bears in cups, sleep in castles, and do other amazing feats that seem impossible to do. How? What makes them so capable?
